The Stitchery Sewing Center is located 1½ miles east of historic downtown Howell on Grand River Avenue, in the Promenade Shopping Center. Established in 1980 as a Janome Sewing Machine Dealership, we quickly saw the need for a sewing center in Livingston Country and became a fabric and notions shop; with quarterly newsletters, offering over 50 basic sewing and new quilting project classes.

With over 5,000 bolts of fine quality cottons, flannels, wools, juvenile prints, batiks and homespun plaids to choose from, as well as all the latest books, patterns and notions, our friendly qualified staff is here to assist you.

We also feature a full line of heirloom products, with 2 licensed Martha Pullen instructors and an excellent smocking instructor. There is a lot to browse through so take your time and see what we have to offer.
